CTO Breakfast and Utah PHP Users Group This Week

As part of my on going efforts to check out the tech scene here in Utah I’m planning to attend the CTO Breakfast (which isn’t limited to CTOs I’m told) and the Utah PHP Users Group this week. Both events are this Thursday, August 23rd.

The CTO Breakfast is at the Novell campus down in Provo. A little bit of a drive from Sandy, but a couple of people recommended it as a good opportunity to talk tech with others. This run by Phil Windley and starts at 8am.

Making up for the longer drive to Provo is the Utah PHP Users Group which meets Thursday night at 7pm in Draper, just a few miles south-west of my home. The topic is Search Engine Optimization and PHP, presented by Sherrie Bigelow.

If you end up at either or both of these events be sure to say hi. I should have a few WordPress stickers on hand.
